Why We're Seeking You
As our inaugural dedicated IT hire, you'll craft Owner's IT vision and translate it into actionable objectives. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, playing a pivotal role in shaping our tech infrastructure and nurturing our company culture as we scale.
💻 The Impact You Will Have
Foster a proactive and supportive IT environment conducive to efficient and secure operations. Serve as the primary liaison for all IT endeavors and concerns. Ensure IT compliance with all pertinent legal and regulatory mandates; devise, implement, and enforce IT policies and protocols. Oversee device procurement, inventory, and vendor relations. Deliver tier 1 & 2 IT hardware and software support to employees and contractors. Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff on basic hardware and software usage. Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed (e.g., office expansions, AV setups for events). Lead the sourcing and deployment of new software and hardware solutions. Supervise major IT undertakings, including system updates, upgrades, and migrations. Identify forthcoming IT challenges and propose and develop automated solutions. Manage third-party software programs and subscriptions.
👥 Who You'll Collaborate With
This role reports to Owner's Chief Financial Officer, Josh Brown. You'll closely collaborate with our executive team, senior leadership, and people managers across the organization.
✅ Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. At least 7 years of prior experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity, ideally within a distributed or WFH workforce environment. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on enterprise experience with Macbooks. Proficiency with Identity Providers (e.g., Okta) integrated with an HRIS and applications integrated with SAML. Extensive familiarity with Google Workspace. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic setting. Experience in securing corporate devices and services is advantageous.
